Ellen Pompeo - Chanel Fine Jewelry – Night of Diamonds 2008/01/16
We usually see Ellen Pompeo wearing her long semi wavy hair in ABC's Grey Anatomy. Her most exciting hairstyle is kinship to the
look in the 1920's – 1930's and was also carried over in bits and pieces throughout the 1940's -1950's. The older women just didn't
want to give up this look. I can see why. This particular hairstyle is one of the most sexiest and elegant of short hairstyles. It
just doesn't get much better.
There is a fairly high straight part with the top going over into those deep, oh so lush waves that flirtatiously take a dip over one
eye brow. The rest of the side is influenced with deeper waves that topple into rolling curls. The lesser side also has waves that
reach all around her head meeting the other side. Truly, a complete work of art.
There are several ways you could accomplish this type of wave. One such suggestion is to section your hair with the part and then
section off a horizontal row from the part, take a small portion of the hair about 2.5 cm or 1 in and form a pin curl winding from
the outside going clockwise, leaving the end in the center. Fasten with your clip. Repeat this process along the row. Next row,
repeat this process, only in the opposite direction, counter clockwise. Work this procedure on down your sides and around your
back, or on the very bottom, you can use medium sized rollers in placed in a vertical position. When your hair is dry, use a
firm brush to vigorously your waves out, you will see the waves fall exactly where you planned. Spray a little bit of gloss
and hairspray and you too will be a class act just like Ellen and the talk of the town.
Selma Blair - Night of Diamonds 2008/01/16
Selma Blair worked in many short roles until she landed a role opposite Reese Witherspoon and Sarah Michelle Gellar in Cruel Intentions in
Selma looks a world of difference with her short hair and can wear just about any hairstyle because of her divine oval frame. Her
smooth rich lines begin along the high angle of her side part; the texture of her hair appears to be medium thick, with the nape area
cropped in a tapered elevation, while the sides have a bit more weight covering the ears. There are heavy chops that skim across her
forehead covering one of her brows. This hairstyle lies close to the head with sleek glossy lines.
This hairstyle is unique because no matter what Selma's outfit will be, she will look stunning, neat and classy. There is no problem
with the thoughts of getting caught in the rain with this sculpture. Where would her hair fall and where would there be frizz? You
just have to admit, this lady looks unbelievably young. If we can knock about 10 years off of ourselves just by getting a new haircut,
wouldn't you be willing to try it out?
To capture this look for yourself, be sure and apply generous amounts of gel when you blow dry. Use your favorite round brush and
slick over with your smoothing serum when you are finished, especially on the bangs. Spray a small amount of gloss and guaranteed,
you will begin to get compliments.
